Painting with Lasers and Spraypaint

I wanted to paint a piece of art but, unfortunately, I don't know how to paint. However, I do know how to use modern tools. This was a short art project to make some beautiful for fun, and the process has been repeated multiple times since this original prototype.

This became an Instructable that has been viewed 40,000+ times since being posted in the Fall of 2013.

It started with collecting inspiration: I'm a sucker for early 90's rock and surf aesthetic.
